Devon Football League And Devon & Exeter Football League Unveil Constitution!
The Devon Football League and Devon & Exeter Football League unveiled their league constitutions in the last week and involves several new clubs and the loss of three clubs.
In the Devon League the South West Division lost Tavistock Reserves who decided not to run a reserve team for the new season. The club have been replaced by Okehampton Argyle who return to step seven football for the first time since they were from the South West Peninsula League with one point in 2016.
The Devon & Exeter League were saddened to announce the withdrawal of Cronies and The Royal Oak, these two clubs have been replaced immediately with new clubs Dolton Rangers and Falcons FC. Dolton have previously had a team in the Exeter League and and North Devon League but Falcons, who will play their home games at Uplowman, are a new side.
The league also welcome the return of Axminster Town Reserves, Beacon Knights, Bickleigh, Morchard Bishop and South Zeal United. Five clubs have also entered new teams as the league welcome North Tawton Reserves, Ottery St Mary Reserves, Thorverton Reserves, Whipton & Pinhoe Reserves and Winchester Thirds.
The clubs were told at the AGM that they will soon find out what division they will be playing in once a date for the return of football is announced.
